Our Vision
GO! Method School WonderZoeker focuses on a unique approach to education, with the core being the development of the individual within a community. The vision embraces a broad, holistic view of learning, focused on both academic skills and personal development, with special emphasis on sustainability and social awareness. The curriculum is designed to challenge and support students in their natural curiosity and eagerness to learn, through experiential education, project-based learning and a strong connection to the natural world. The school strives to provide a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where every student is given the space to grow, explore and reach their full potential. Parental involvement and community integration play a crucial role in achieving these goals, creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning and social involvement.
Learning together with meaning
Every day we build a powerful living and learning environment for our students. Together with the parents we shape the living environment. In creating a powerful learning environment, we see parents as co-experts in the development of their own child. Our school emphasizes the importance of learning together, with enthusiasm. This is achieved through an approach where fun in learning is central, and where students are encouraged to work together and learn from each other in a positive and supportive environment.
Green and sustainable
We learn in and from nature. We draw the card of sustainability. Not only within ecological and economic life, but also in all aspects of life: in the form of care for social relationships, self-care and the development of sustainable knowledge and skills. We realize that we are part of the problem and we have decided to become part of the solution. Sustainability and respect for the environment are essential values for our school. We strive to educate students with an awareness of and respect for our planet, which is not only reflected in the curriculum, but also in daily practice and school policy.
Own strength
We start from the natural learning process of the child and use a participatory and experience-oriented approach. The learning content, skills and attitudinal development are seen in a rich, broad context with the possibility of self-initiative and expression and this without losing sight of the differences between the children. The development of the individual strengths of each pupil is a core ambition. The school wants all pupils to be able to discover, develop and appreciate their own talents and capacities, and that they are stimulated to take initiative and build self-confidence.
Inquiring into the world
Children are constantly asking questions and are naturally interested in what is happening in the world. We respond to children’s interest and curiosity by allowing them to explore for themselves. By allowing children to learn through inquiry, they not only gain knowledge, but also experience success. Curiosity and the desire to learn more about the world around us is a crucial attitude that our school aims to cultivate. This includes encouraging an inquiry-based attitude, where students are encouraged to ask questions and actively seek knowledge.
